Central Citrus Rotary Club had the feature float in the Citrus Springs Christmas Parade again with our President, Michael Busler as Santa Claus on the float with Mrs Claus. At our September 5, 2018 club meeting Mark Dawber was a Rotary visitor from Mississauga, Ontario. He presented us with a flag from his club, The Rotary Club of Toronto-West Ontario, Canada. Daystar Ground Breaking
The ground breaking for the Daystar new apartment building for the homeless was on September 7, 2018. There was a large turnout from the county and Catholic Charities including the Bishop of the Diocese of St Petersburg. The Rotary Exchange Student(RYE) that the Rotary Club supports for 2018-2019 arrived on August 9, 2018 from Oberhinkofen, Germany. Timo Ziereis is going to Lecanto High School.
