Central Citrus Club

The peace pole at Daystar in Crystal River had a dedication ceremony. The area where
the peace pole and flag pole are located has been completely landscaped. Crrent picture

The first Peace Pole in Citrus County, Florida was installed in the area with the
US Flag at Daystar Life Center in Crystal River. Peace Pole has a prayer for peace
“May Peace Prevail On Earth” in 4 languages plus braille. A dedication ceremony
will be held soon. Rotarians installing the Peace Pole were President Eric Hoyer
& Roger Carlson, Central Citrus Rotary and Bob Daughhetee, Homosassa Rotary.

The Touch A Truck/Healthy Kids Day had 20 exhibits of trucks, boats &
machinery available for viewing  & touching. The County Sheriff, Fish & Wildlife &
Coast Guard had boars there. The Fire Department had their safety trailer there.
Many families with children were able to see the inside & outside exhibits at the
College of Central Florida at Lecanto in Citrus County.
