April 27, 2016 Breakfast Meeting

Debbie Salsavage gave a very informative presentation on dementia. She
describes how it effects the person and their care giver. Everyone was
interested in what she said since most had someone close to them that had
the disease which has no cure. She is trying to educate care givers and
particularly businesses who serve customers who might have dementia.
Her presentation could have gone on much longer with the Rotarians
interest and questions about dementia which may affect some of them
or more of their loved ones.

2016 Dictionary Distribution to 3rd Graders

Rotary Club of Central Citrus County has distributed 375 dictionaries to the
3rd grade classes of Central Citrus Elementary, Citrus Springs Elementary
& Hernando Elementary. It is a wonderful experience to see how excited
the 3rd graders are when getting their own dictionary. All 6 Rotary clubs
in the county are involved with distributing dictionaries to the 3rd graders.
Club members involved this year were Vera Swade, Mike Busler, Hazel
Carlson & Roger Carlson. Below are some of the thank you notes from the
students. Click note to view better.
