The Rotary Club of Central Citrus County had a very nice installation
dinner meeting at the Quality Inn on Hwy 486. AnnMarie Briercheck
provided a wonderful Italian dinner for members and guests to enjoy.
We appreciate our new District Governor, Will Miller attending the
installation to install the new Club President, Roger Carlson and the
two Boards of Directors. Check out the picture below of Past President,

Jonas Bartholer from Denmark exchanged Rotary club flags
with President Eric Hoyer. Katy Neely with “Aspire” home
of the RIVER project was the meeting speaker, She gave an
inspiring talk about what they are doing promoting positive
influences for students at 14 schools in the county. Aspire
is a Citrus County non-profit that exists to share the
life-changing message of healthy relationships.

Rotary Youth Exchange at work on the Homossasa Rike the River project.
Svein and Jonas really work hard in loading the muck gathered from the
river. Our club was well represented and 5 exchange youth were there, too.
Our speaker at the meeting was Tom Chancy who is in charge of the
operation of the Citrus County Community Food Bank. He gave an
overview how the food bank got started and how it is successfully
helping to feed thousands of low income residents & many homeless
people in Citrus County.
