Winner at Strawberry Festival

Real Winner was Boys & Girls Club

Members of the Rotary Club were at the Strawberry Festival to raise money for the
Beverly Hills Boys & Girls Club. The funds are for helping to pay for a cover on the
back of Boys & Girls Club building to shield the kids from the hot sun when outside.
Gwendolyn Wheeler was the excited winner of the 50/50 raffle and the kids this
summer will be a lot more comfortable to be outside doing activities under the cover.

Rotary Club of Central Citrus County at Work

Rotary Club Service Project

Several of the members of the Rotary Club of Central Citrus County met at the Annie
Johnson Senior & Family Service Center in West Dunnellon to plant flowers and mulch
areas. Everyone had a good time, worked hard and a sweated a little. The result looked
great as you can see from the pictures. Members brought food dishes to share after
completing the project including food for distribution to clients of the Annie Johnson
Senior & Family Service Center. We had some guests who admired our efforts especially
after Karen shared a treat with them( 4 donkeys). The pictures below show what can be
done with a small amount of money and some hard work for few hours on a Saturday
morning(4/26/2014) by a dedicated group of Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Central
Central Citrus County. See pictures below
