Updates on Future Activities and Opportunities

Eric has tickets to Citrus 20/20 Inc/Save Our Waters dinner on September 19th
at College of Central Florida. Senator Charlie Dean is the speaker.

Karen has started working on Spellorama for possibly January, 2015. She will
be setting up committees for this and will need sponsors.

October 4th is King’s Bay Rotary Club’s Wild beast Feast at Jack and Julie
Reynold’s home. $20 for members and free for guests that may be possible
members serving as part of the membership drive.

Rescheduled  Club Social – Murder Mystery and Dinner at the home of John and
MaryAnn Ceparano. This is a new event and should prove to be fun and entertaining.

The 4th weekly meeting of October will be on Tuesday, October 21st at Copps
Winery from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  Food will be provided with a cash bar.

Save the Date – more information coming soon!  Presidents, Presidents Elect and Foundations Chairs are strongly urged to attend, but all Rotarians are welcome to come and learn more about the Rotary Foundation. Registration will open at 8:00am with a Continental
Breakfast. Program will begin promptly at 9:00am-2pm.

This is an important meeting with information about the Foundation and the Grants structure.

 

Rotary Club Social Fun and Other Happenings

The first fun event coming up is Put Put at Cuzin Vinnie’s at the Citrus County Mall
on Friday, August 22nd. Be there and celebrate making holes in one and beating your
fellow Rotarians. Food and drink available. 6:00pm Putt Off time.

Rotary day with the Rays on September 7th. Spend the afternoon watching the
Tampa Bay Rays vs Baltimore Orioles baseball game. Purchase tickets by August 27th.

On September 13th an RLI at Trinity College 2430 Welbilt Blvd  Trinity, Fl 34655
check in and breakfast at 7:15am, class starts at 8:00am. Parts 1, 2 & 3 are offered and
Grad B class “Transforming Your Rotary Club”

Something new for October 10th, a Dinner Mystery Theater where everyone is part
of the cast. You may be the victim or maybe even the evil villain in this exciting evening.

Oh, what a great evening with Michael Caruso and a special guest appearance of
PDG John T Capps on November 3rd at Citrus Hills County Club. You can’t miss
this opportunity to hear an International Speaker like Michael Caruso and the
District’s own John T Capps. Go to the district website to order your tickets before
they are sold out, See you there. November 3rd is the date at 7:00pm

The weather was great, cooler and a nice breeze. The riders enjoyed their rides
with lots of food and drinks for all and we had a great bunch of volunteers from
the Rotary Clubs, YMCA and others. Many thanks to our sponsors who helped
